Software Sales Geophysicist – Asia

  • Implement the DUG sales strategy and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Regular and continuous outreach to new and existing customers
  • Initiating and managing software evaluations and conversions
  • Impeccable customer service — ensuring that all customer enquiries are dealt with immediately
  • Delivering standard demos and client-directed software presentations
  • Ensuring that you maintain  the highest  level of product knowledge, always keeping update with the latest release of DUG Insight software
  • Providing direct customer support throughout evaluation as required
  • Prepare quotes for software sales and training.
  • Follow up on renewals for current customers and aim to grow their licence count
  • Report to management on topics such as client feedback, software features, changing market direction, competitive analysis, sales forecasts, &c.
  • Compliance with administrative procedures (e.g. expenses; use of the ticket system and CRM; up-to-date travel calendar; client meeting reports; &c.)
  • All activities/opportunities must be recorded in PCS (and Zendesk where appropriate) inc meeting notes, phone calls, customer and company information, quotes &c
  • Attending conferences and organise software workshops when required
  • Planning an efficient travel schedule, to maximise the value of all trips
  • Other duties as they may arise
  • Comply with the Company’s HSE regulations and policy
  • Cooperate with supervisory and management personnel to ensure the Company’s safety responsibilities are fulfilled
