On Thursday 5 May, DUG Perth’s Geoscience Manager, Sagar Ronghe, will be visiting Houston to present his one day course on Seismic Reservoir Characterization. Sagar is a specialist in Quantitative Interpretation integrating wireline and seismic data and has over 20 years experience in this area. The course will cover:
- Introduction to quantitative interpretation
- Introduction to rock physics
- Stochastic modeling of end member trends
- Amplitude, AVA and stack rotations
- Deterministic inversion
- Stochastic inversion
- Velocity leveling and scaling
