DUG extends commitment to quality with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications

We are very proud to announce that the DUG integrated management system (IMS) has achieved certification in relation to:

  • ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems); and
  • ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management Systems).

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 are the standards by which modern technology companies are measured for the quality of their business processes and the effectiveness of their information security management system.

To receive this certification, DUG has gone through external audits with an independent, third-party agency to verify the required processes are in place and effective for our IMS. The ISO certification encompasses all group activities across all of our global offices.

This achievement reiterates our long-standing commitment to maintaining and demonstrating the best quality and security practices for our employees and customers. As a technology company in the business of big data solutions, we recognise that our information security principles are of critical importance.

Proper management and protection of information and related systems are vital to guarantee our continued operation and protect the privacy and confidentiality of information entrusted to us. We appreciate that information security best practice is constantly evolving and that agile capabilities must be continually developed and maintained. This is increasingly true as we continue to diversify and expand our client base.

DUG Managing Director, Matt Lamont said: “As our high performance computing as a service offering has grown, we have seen the demand for ISO certification from our potential clients. We therefore made the formalisation of the DUG IMS and the ISO Certification process a high priority over the last twelve months and I thank everyone who contributed to this important milestone.”
