DUG-Insight’s Structurally-Oriented Filter (SOF) is a handy tool for cleaning up noisy data. The result isn’t just nice to look at — a SOF stack is great for interpreting 2D using the propagator.
A terrific way to see the impact of the SOF is to create a difference volume using Volume Maths.
The difference volume, or noise model, shows the removed artifacts and highlights the impact of different SOF and dip parameters. Click here to find out more information.
