Grant opportunity announcement.

Grant opportunity announcement.

ICYMI: The Australian Government has just announced the next round of funding for short-term industry-led research collaborations. CRC-P Round 11 Guidelines have been listed on their Business.gov.au website. Round 11 will support projects that focus on the National Manufacturing Priorities (medical products are on this priority list), and funding will also be available for projects in other industry sectors. Round 11 will also support high value projects in regional areas, as part of the Government’s Regional Decentralisation agenda.

Information about Round 11, including the grant opportunity guidelines and relevant factsheets, is available at business.gov.au/crc-p. Applications are expected to open early this year.

If you’re considering applying, it may also be useful to know that MTPConnect ran a webinar session last year about preparing commercialisation funding applications. This is now available for on-demand viewing. The presentations on this webinar offer several takeaways that should assist your efforts, including key differences between research and commercialisation applications
