We couldn’t love this story more! This week ICRAR announced that its Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescope has completed the deepest and broadest search at low frequencies for alien technologies, scanning a patch of sky known to include at least 10 million stars. That’s a search area hundreds of times broader than than any previous search for extraterrestrial life.
And the results? If they’re out there, we need to look harder!
