Although DUG Insight is well-known for its history as a geophysical tool, some of the many additions in the new version 2.4 are for the geologists.

Foremost among them is the Well Correlation View:

Choosing wells is as simple as picking an arbitrary line. You can then pick markers in any view, which are interactively correlated, honouring user-defined stratigraphic constraints. Choosing from a range of lithological colours and patterns requires just a few clicks.

Each well can have multiple independently-configured tracks for well log display. Toggling between TWT, TVD, and MD — or flattening to a chosen marker — are all one-click operations.
