We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with PXGEO, an innovative marine geophysical services provider, for the provision of software onboard their marine seismic vessel PXGEO 2. We will provide our DUG Insight software for real-time data acquisition quality control and onboard data processing and visualisation. Professional support services are also included. There is also an option to equip further vessels as PXGEO grows its fleet.
Over the past 17 years, we have been at the forefront of analytical software design and development, as evidenced by DUG Insight’s use in 36 different countries around the world. We have significant experience in seismic data analysis and visualisation for real-time quality control. From 2014 to 2021 we developed and maintained a successful real-time processing system for a fleet of marine seismic vessels.
PXGEO Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Eley, said: “We look forward to this new partnership that will enable us to leverage DUG’s industry-leading software and HPC service offerings to deliver our innovative acquisition and subsurface imaging solutions in both the OBN and towed streamer seismic segments.”
Our Managing Director, Dr Matthew Lamont, said: “We are excited to be working with the PXGEO team. Our software will provide a state-of-the-art solution for their onboard data-analysis needs.”
We have a strong working relationship with PXGEO management and we fully expect this new partnership to be mutually beneficial to both parties.
