We are delighted to announce that DUG is now on AARNet! With this high-speed connection in place, it’s even easier for researchers and educators to take advantage of our HPCaaS (high-performance compute as a service).
The AARNet network connects over two million Australian researchers, faculty, and students to their peers around the world as well as the commercial internet, supporting education and research across a diverse range of disciplines, including high energy physics, climate science, genomics, radio astronomy and the arts.
AARNet is providing the network services for the transmission of the data between the Murchison Widefield Array sensors and will be scalable to support the needs of the future early phases of the Square Kilometer Array project.
