This week, our Managing Director, Matthew Lamont travelled to London to be a guest at a reception with the High Commissioner for Australia, The Hon Mike Rann, and the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Hon Julie Bishop at the London Stock Exchange.

The Hon Julie Bishop MP officially opened trading of the London markets. The ceremony formed part of the Minister’s first official visit to the UK and serviced to underline the strong business ties between UK and Australia.

Matt was invited in recognition of the success of the DownUnder GeoSolutions’ London office and our strong growth in that market. The ceremony was also attended by the Lord Mayor of London, Fiona Woolf.
