Unravel the universe with Professor Steven Tingay: PhD scholarship now open for application!

Are you keen on pursuing a postgraduate research degree where you can apply supercomputing to help unravel the mysteries of the universe?

Look no further! Applications for a Curtin University-CSIRO (Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation) Industry PhD program under the supervision of John Curtin Distinguished Professor Steven Tingay are now open!

The successful applicant will utilise Australia’s two Square Kilometre Array (SKA) precursor facilities – the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) and the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) radio telescope – in collaboration with CSIRO and DUG Technology to explore the application of DUG’s green supercomputing and expertise to a range of challenging radio astronomy problems.
