It can be extremely difficult to get your head around some research projects, especially those with concepts as complex as discovering the first stars and galaxies from nearly 13 billion years ago. Associate Professor Cathryn Trott from the Curtin University node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), was recently interviewed on Perth’s RTRFM 92.1 about her mind-blowing research project.
We loved what she had to say about DUG: “The data existed, the science existed, and what we needed was industry to help us sift through that data, much more rapidly and much more efficiently.”
